"An great day in the mountain chasing a very nice line on the North East side of the Cornes de la Loriaz. Starting the ascent in the forest, we saw the nice face we had to climb in front of us while reaching the Chalet de la Loriaz plateau. We were lucky the snow condition were very good and even though Nicolas had to open the track, we managed to climb the whole couloir quite fast. Nice funny steps in the middle with few holes and icy climbs. After a few minutes on the top, enjoying the view on the Mont Blanc, the Buet, and Aiguilles Rouges, we started the descent taking the right "banana" couloir. Amazing snow condition and a very nice couloir !! Ending the day in the woods under the sunny sky. Thanks you Nicolas for this great tour" Emmanuel Caillaud.
